Pastor John received a B.A. in Secondary Education from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. He received his Master of Divinity from Luther Seminary, St. Paul. He has done study programs in Atlanta, Georgia and in Zimbabwe. He also did an internship at Gracious Saviour in Detroit, Michigan. His first call was to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Toledo, Ohio.
Pastor John is married and has a daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, biking, native plants, hiking and a good cup of coffee!
